It's going far too quick
Strictly Come Dancing Fans couldn't believe their ears as host Tess Daly announced the latest series had already reached the halfway mark. Tess, who hosted the show with Bruce Forsyth and now Claudia Winkleman, welcomed the audience to the seventh week of the hit BBC show.
Before the Strictly stars were introduced to the ballroom and the judges took their seats on the panel, Tess had an announcement to make, as she remarked: "It's week seven and we are officially at the half way point," with Claudia explaining: "So far this series, a Strictly record has been broken every single week."
Watching at home, many fans were gutted to learn that Strictly 2023 is whizzing by so fast, while others got excited at the prospect at the programme's annual trip to Blackpool now being firmly on the horizon. The Tower Ballroom episode is always a real highlight of the Strictly calendar and all of the remaining contestants will want to stay in long enough to perform at the iconic venue.
