The new eight-episode reality series, focused around Manchester and the North West, follows the lives of a host of female actresses from across three of Britain's biggest soaps
Strictly Come Dancing champion Ellie Leach has revealed she's stepping out of her comfort zone in a new reality series, Drama Queens. Ellie, who clinched the BBC One trophy along with her dance partner Vito Coppola, says the show will give fans a peek into the "stress and excitement" following her win.
Ellie commented: "It will be good to get an insight into our families, it's not all glitz and glamour. I've just started a play which is completely out of my comfort zone. People will see the stress and excitement I've been feeling since finishing Strictly." When asked if her dance partner Vito would appear in the new series, Ellie shared: "There are a few bits on tour. He is hilarious and he makes me laugh.", reports Wales Online.
The show will star some of the country's favourite soap actresses like Coronation Street's Brooke Vincent and Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany Platt, and Jorgie Porter from Hollyoaks. Rita Simons, who used to be in EastEnders, is also on the show.
