KIRO 7 News StaffSNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — A section of U.S. Highway 2 is set to close on Sunday so crews can assess and remove hazardous trees damaged by the Bolt Creek Fire, according to the Washington Department of Transportation.🚨🌲US 2 UPDATE: Beginning around NOON today US 2 will close in both directions btwn MP 46-50 near

Now with fire damage in addition to that, we’re not sure what it’s going to look like. So I would expect to see times where this has to happen again,” said Bolt Creek Fire operations section chief Scott Sorenson.
