Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin has a positive update for season 5, despite the production delay by the Writer's Guild of America strike. Ahead of its season 4 premiere, Netflix renewed Stranger Things for a fifth and final season. Season 4 ended on a cliffhanger, leaving questions about what is next for The Party in their pursuits to takedown Vecna. Production on the season had just begun when the WGA officially declared a strike in May 2023.
"I haven't had a chance [to read the script] but I have an idea of what's going to happen. I know some stuff. Right now, we're supporting the writers. I think it's going to be good, though. I think it's going to be really good. I think people are going to be happy. I don't know too much that is going to happen, but until the writers' strike is over, I'll be able to get more information.
