Thousands of homes across the North West have been left without power and travel has been disrupted by Storm Lilian.
About 1000 homes are without power in Lancashire, with hundreds affected in Greater Manchester and in Cheshire. The Bee Network has warned of disruption due to the severe weather conditions, reporting that a number of trees have fallen across the Manchester area, including at Piccadilly.
