Stoke City boss Alex Neil was able to call on a host of returning players for the win over Sunderland, but may not be able to go with the same XI against Leeds United
Stoke City boss Alex Neil has admitted that he may be forced into changes for the visit of Leeds United on Wednesday evening. The Potters claimed a much-needed win at the weekend when they saw off Sunderland 2-1 at the bet365 Stadium, boosted by the return of several key players.
"My preference would certainly be not to tinker with anything that I don't need to tinker with," Neil said in his pre-match press conference. "However, we’ve had a lot of players who had been out for a significant period of time and now we’ve got three games in a week. Can they replicate that in such quick succession?"With some of the lads in the last game, I wouldn't necessarily say we rushed them back but we certainly weren’t slow in reintroducing them to the squad.
