Why are these people who are saying that violence is justified to take back the country coming out of the woodwork now when they were muffled during the previous 30 years? Who let the cork out of the bottle so that those who advocate, commit, and plan for violence are now so vociferous? It is Donald Trump, and more importantly, those who refuse to denounce him.

John McCain and Mitt Romney did not foment an insurrection and continue to propagate falsehoods about the vote. What changed? Only one thing, the emergence of Donald Trump. Recall in 2016, before the election went his way, candidate Trump said the election was rigged. Even after he was elected, Trump’s ego demanded that he say he would have won the popular vote but for voter fraud. What Trump did was lay the groundwork for the January 6 insurrection.
