Niasmith thought his side should have had at least spot kick at Fir Park after David Munro and Kevin Clancy turned down two appeals.
Steven Naismith saluted skipper Lawrence Shankland for a double which sunk Motherwell and lifted some of the pressure from his shoulders, but can't understand why they didn;t get at least one penalty in Lanarkshire.
He said: “I think Lawrence was really good. Liam Boyce was good as well and deserves a mention. We defended well and the midfield three were good. Lawrence gets the headlines because he scored the goals but I’m sure he’d be the first to say he needs his teammates to create the chances and defend well. It’s a big win because there’s a demand and an expectation. That’s not just one week and then it’s off. It’s there every week.
“It’s something that takes time. There’s some moments you want to be better but you hope over time they get eradicated and the good stuff shines through"
