Colbert said that DeSantis was trying to “score cheap political points in Florida by dragooning people off the streets of Texas and smuggling them to Massachusetts.” Colbert also laid into Abbott, who recently sent nine bus loads of people to the Port Authority in New York City. “Oh no, Gov. Abbott, now New Yorkers will have to deal with crowds of confused and sad people at the Port Authority,” Colbert joked. “What will we do?”“Two can play at that game, Texas,” Colbert said. “Enjoy hundreds of people hold M&Ms wandering aimlessly in search of the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.”
