Warriors' Steph Curry Launches Special Under Armour Shoes For 32nd Birthday (via NBCSAuthentic)
It appears the timeline could last much longer.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Sunday that NBA executives believe the best case scenario for games to resume is mid-to-late June, with no fans in attendance. This comes as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended Sunday that events with 50 or more people be canceled or suspended for the next eight weeks.
CDC recommendation of no events of 50-plus people for next two months comes as a number of NBA owners and executives increasingly believe a best case scenario is a mid-to-late June return to play -- with no fans. League's scouting for possible arena dates all the way thru August.The regular season was expected to end April 15 with the Warriors playing the Kings at Golden 1 Center.
Wojnarowski also reported Sunday with the CDC's latest recommendation, the NBA G League soon will be canceled. The Kings and Warriors each have G League affiliates. : NBA teams operating G League franchises expect rest of the minor-league season will soon be cancelled, sources tell ESPN. Regular season runs thru end of March, playoffs into April. Players have been informed they'll be paid thru end of schedule.
