Steph McGovern refused to let the chaos stop her show
The Channel 4 presenter of Steph's Packed Lunch was travelling on a train from London to Leeds after presenting the Attitude Awards on Wednesday, October 12. On Thursday morning her train was delayed at Grantham and then cancelled.
Steph then joked: "I'm so excited to be on 'Simon's Packed Lunch', I can't believe this! This is a big day for me, thank you for having me on!" Presenter and podcaster Ashley, 36, took to Instagram to share an update on the experience. She had to do the show without makeup on and only had time to put a dress over her leggings she wore for the journey.
"I messaged Steph and she was on the same train as me! I mean it's one thing me not doing the show - but there's literally no Steph's Packed Lunch without Steph! Suddenly the train is cancelled and terminating at Grantham. 90 minutes until we're live.
