A Nottinghamshire man was charged with drink driving
A Nottinghamshire man is due to appear in court on suspicion of drink driving. Police were called to reports of a crash involving a Vauxhall Insignia and Toyota Yaris in Ladywood Road, Ilkeston, at 9.40am on Sunday, October 29.
The driver and passenger of the Yaris were injured in the incident, Derbyshire Police said. Andrew Weatherall, 35, of Hillside Close in Chilwell, was charged with drink driving and released on unconditional bail.A spokesperson for Derbyshire Police said: "Officers were called to reports of a collision in Ladywood Road at 9.40am on Sunday, October 29, between a Vauxhall Insignia and a Toyota Yaris. The driver of the Vauxhall Insignia was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
"The driver and passenger of the Yaris were left with injuries. Later that same day Andrew Weatherall, 35, of Hillside Road, Chilwell, was charged with drink driving and was released on unconditional bail to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on 15 November."
