The best and worst Christmas drinks Now Halloween is over and done with, ’tis the season for Christmas beverages. Starbucks, Cafè Nero and Costa have all launched their festive hot drinks today, with some tasty new treats featuring, as well as old favourites. From sticky toffee latte to millionaires hot chocolate, the Metro team has tried the latest seasonal launches to reveal which are worth splashing your hard-earned cash on.
‘It went down fine enough, but I wouldn’t buy this over the rest of the festive period.’ Toffee Nut Latte Rating: 2/5 Toffee Nut Latte Alice says: ‘I’m not the biggest fan. When I heard toffee I was excited, but the emphasis in this latte is on the nut. ‘It is overwhelmingly nutty, to the point it leaves a slightly unpleasant aftertaste in the mouth. I don’t hate it. There is a hint of toffee which I like but it’s just a little overpowering when it comes to the flavouring.
