It’s suspected that Ubisoft’s Star Wars game has been pushed back but, for once, not because of development troubles.
Star Wars Outlaws – the game is noticeably absent from Ubisoft’s release schedule for the 2024 fiscal year Although it avoids naming it, Ubisoft has announced it has pushed back a ‘large’ mystery game, out of the company’s release schedule for the 2024 fiscal year. Instead, the game will launch in the 2025 fiscal year, so anywhere from April 2024 to the end of March 2025. Given the lack of possibilities, it’s assumed that the game in question is Star Wars Outlaws.
The Crew Motorfest – even the new The Crew game did well though Ubisoft hasn’t shared any sales figures Ubisoft’s target earnings for that quarter were €350 million and it wound up making €554.8 million ; 36.6% more than what they were hoping for. Ubisoft pins this success on the September launches of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and The Crew Motorfest, which is interesting since the latter didn’t seem to be doing all that well at all in the sales charts across the UK, Europe, and the US.
