The original PS2 era Battlefront games are remastered for modern formats and they stand up surprisingly well compared to the new ones.
Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection – the original ‘Fronts With the recent news that EA wants to move away from making licensed games, once its current obligations are complete, it’s unclear what the future is for Star Wars games – or Disney licensed titles in general.
The game also launched just a few months before the Xbox 360, which means it gets overlooked a little in terms of the history of online console titles. If nothing else, it’s an excellent sequel, with many more characters and vehicles, including more Jedi and Sith, and brand new space combat options that almost feel like they could have been spun out into their own game.
