Dalbeattie Star boss Eddie Warwick described their Potts Cup defeat to Queen of the South as “hard to swallow”.Warwick said: “Saturday was a hard one to swallow as for the first half and spells in the second half we were absolutely excellent.
“We had another two great opportunities to score and also hit the crossbar from 20 yards. The only negative we had in the first 45 minutes was a mistake and we gave away a silly, cheap goal to go in 2-1 up at half-time. I don’t think anyone would have argued if it was three or four goals in Dalbeattie’s favour.
