St. Mary’s Law students from San Antonio in new podcast ‘Class Action’ hosted by MSNBC’s Katie Phang
is front-and-center in several episodes. The series also follows teams from Brooklyn Law School and the University of South Dakota’s Knudson School of Law. An undergraduate team from Dillard University in New Orleans is featured as well. That team includes Houstonian DeAndre Bell.
The podcast is hosted by Katie Phang, an attorney as well as an anchor and host on MSNBC and Peacock. It also includes commentary from other well-known attorneys, including Preet Bharara, Elie Honig, Lara Bazelon and Tony Serra. agreed to let the podcast team follow the St. Mary’s students in part to show how important mock trial training is.
He also is hoping that the podcast helps raise the law school’s profile in San Antonio and elsewhere.
