The hit anime Spy x Family is returning for a second season later this year and while not much has been released about it yet, here's what is known.
Although Spy x Family just wrapped up its first season at the end of last year, the anime studios responsible for the hit show have already announced plans for Spy x Family season 2. They also released plans for a movie to be released around the same time, meaning fans will have plenty to look forward to.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Latest Spy x Family Season 2 News The latest news about season 2 comes from the Spy x Family Twitter account. A couple of months after Spy x Family's second season was announced to release in 2023 at Jump Festa, the Twitter account tweeted what month it would release and where it would be broadcast in Japan.
Spy x Family Season 2 Story Details The second season will adapt the fan-favorite Cruise Adventure arc, which features the Forger family vacationing on a luxurious cruise ship. The catch is that in her role as an assassin, Yor must also protect an important family from the hitmen who want to kill them. Before reaching this arc, the anime will hopefully adapt chapters 39-42, which take place in between where the show ended and where the Cruise Adventure Arc begins.
Spy x Family Season 2 Cast and Characters Loid, Yor, and Anya will all be heavily featured in Season 2 and based on the teaser, their voice actors are likely going to be reprising their roles. Depending on how many of the slice-of-life chapters the anime is adapting, fans may see less of the delightful supporting cast like Housemaster Henderson, Becky Blackwell, or Franky.
