Tottenham are seeking urgent clarification on Fabio Paratici THFC
, Wembley chiefs are unclear if the sanction is one that they must automatically apply or await direction from FIFA.And the north London outfit are now seeking confirmation on the implications of the ruling, as perParitici spent 11 years at Juve as Head of Technical Affairs and Sporting Director, before leaving following the conclusion of the 2020/21 season and joining Spurs.
As a result, the Serie A side have been given a 15 point deduction, meaning they could slide from 3rd down to 11th in the league and out of the European football spots. Former Juventus chairman Andrea Agnelli has also been banned from holding office in Italian football for 24 months, while vice-president Pavel Nedved has been given an eight-month ban and former chief executive Maurizio Arrivabene has been suspended, too.
The club indicated on Friday night that they are waiting for the written reasons behind the sanctions, but deny any wrong doing and state they will launch an appeal.
