Spring Valley man, 72, missing several weeks, may have accidently driven into Mexico [Breaking]
Eddie Joe Taylor was headed to his Spring Valley home when he accidentally drove into Mexico six weeks ago. He’s not been heard from since.
Eddie Joe Taylor, 72, has been missing in Aug 4, the day he told his girlfriend he accidently drove into Mexico.The Sheriff’s Department said Taylor’s family reports that he is is prediabetic, has high blood pressure and recently has become confused and forgetful. He soon called his girlfriend to say he had mistakenly continued south on state Route 125 and crossed the border into Mexico.A factory installed GPS tracker in Taylor’s car last show him in a Tijuana neighborhood a few miles south of the border.
Aquino said the department is working with the U.S. Consulate and the Homeland Security Investigation, and has entered his name into a national database of missing people.Sheriff’s officials said they are also asking Mexican media outlets to publicize his disappearance.
