A new Special Ops: Lioness teaser trailer has been released for the upcoming Paramount+ series led by Nicole Kidman.
“Based on a real-life CIA program, the series follows Cruz Manuelos, a rough-around-the-edges but passionate young Marine recruited to join the CIA’s Lioness Engagement Team to help bring down a terrorist organization from within,” reads the logline. “Saldaña will play Joe, the station chief of the Lioness program tasked with training, managing and leading her female undercover operatives.
Special Ops: Lioness is created by Sheridan, one of the most prolific showrunners in television. Sheridan is the creator of, the Western drama that continues to set viewership records on cable. Sherdian’s long line of Paramount+ shows includes 1883, 1923, Mayor of Kingstown, and Tulsa King. Sheridan’s upcoming shows, including Special Ops: Lioness, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, and Land Man, also will stream on Paramount+.
Sheridan, Saldaña, and Kidman will executive produce Special Ops: Lioness, along with Bob Yari, Jill Wagner, David Hutkin, Geyer Kosinski, and David Glasser. The series emanates from 101 Studios, MTV Entertainment Studios, and Blossom Films.
