Huge queues formed this weekend
Travellers and holidaymakers hoping to jet off to sunnier climes are being issued a travel warning. Those heading to Spain could get caught up in major chaos at the airport.
The president of ALA, the Spanish association of airlines, Javier Gándara, said the situation was “completely unacceptable”, reports Majorca Daily Bulletin. Mr Gándara demanded the Ministry for Interior takes action so the “necessary resources are available in all Spanish airports to handle the influx of tourists” at the beginning of the summer season.As holiday season begins to kick in, Spain is set to see a major influx of UK tourists in the forthcoming months.
