Thousands queued up for bottled water at temporary distribution centres in East Sussex

At 8pm on Monday, water supplies had been restored to approximately 26,000 properties, however, around 6,500 properties in East Sussex were still without water or with a limited supply, according to Southern Water.: “The process of identifying and setting up bottled water stations is an incredibly complex one, and is done in close collaboration with local partner agencies including the emergency services and local authorities.
