Community groups who operate near the National Cycle Network can apply for a grant to help improve or enhance the spaces along local paths or to help local wildlife.
Grants of up to £1000 are being offered to South Lanarkshire community groups to enhance local spaces.

Local groups could get funding for a range of projects including equipment for litter picking to transform the safety and attractiveness of the local path, tools for maintenance and wildlife management tasks or workshops in wildlife identification and recording.
