South Korean authorities have arrested Lee Man-hee, the founder of a secretive Christian sect, for allegedly hampering the country's Covid-19 response

Its branch in the southern city of Daegu emerged as the biggest cluster after infections spiked in late February. Prosecutors allege the 89-year-old conspired with other sect leaders to withhold information from authorities during the peak of the outbreak among his more than 200,000 followers.
