An even mix of proponents and opponents to teaching Critical Race Theory are in attendance as the Placentia Yorba Linda School Board discusses a proposed resolution to ban it from being taught in schools. The school board decided to pause on a decision to destroy the excess books that were once slated for the 12th grade English class. School administrators deemed the titles inappropriate, according to RCAS Director of Teaching, Learning and Innovation Valerie Brablec Seales.
