5 p.m. Tuesday;Southwestern College offering free classes in IBart therapy class
starts Feb. 16 at the Imperial Beach Senior Community Center. In-person registration will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the senior center, 1075 Eighth St., to help anyone interested in taking the new class. The course will meet from 1:30 to 3:20 p.m. from Feb. 16 to March 23 and is designed for older adults and focuses on the use of art as a creative expression and as a therapeutic process. Registration is required before the class starts.
The National City Chamber of Commerce hosts its first mixer of 2023 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Chula Vista Golf Course, 4475 Bonita Road, Bonita. Promote your services and products with other business owners. Canapes provided; cash bar available. Free, but please register atThe South Chula Vista branch library will host a free San Diego Fix-It Clinic from 10 a .m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Zero Waste San Diego launched the first SD Fix-it Clinic in 2016.

Firefighters rescue dog trapped in 40-foot hole in Bonita area -CHULA VISTA (KUSI) – A retired Sheriff’s dog named “Indy” is back with his family, after a brief scare. Indy, a German Shephard, fell down a 40-foot hole in the Bonita area, but was rescued by Chula Vista firefighters.
