Sega’s drip-feed of Sonic Frontiers info isn’t working - and fans want the game delayed 😬
To play devil’s advocate, it’s possible that what we’ve seen in the footage so far is from an early build or that Sega is merely presenting the game poorly (they inarguably are, even if you just consider the lack of commentary.
What we’re seeing are clearly self-contained demonstrations, almost like a proof of concept, and not someone playing the game naturally. However, Sega’s track record with 3D Sonic games makes it difficult to give it the benefit of the doubt. The last one to be considered anything close to good was
