Josh Richards, Griffin Johnson, and More Stars Are Leaving TikTok For Triller Amid Ban Concerns
, and Noah Beck have all made the move over to Triller, an AI-driven music video and entertainment platform. Josh is investing in the app and joining their team as Chief Strategy Officer while Griffin, Beck, and Reeves will be equity shareholders.
"After seeing the U.S. and other countries’ governments’ concerns over TikTok—and given my responsibility to protect and lead my followers and other influencers—I followed my instincts as an entrepreneur and made it my mission to find a solution," Josh said in a statement. Triller was created as an editing tool back in 2015, but it has grown a lot in the past year. Right now, the app boasts a larger audience and focuses more on sharing music videos, but that could change if more TikTok stars make the move over.
It's unclear whether or not this means the boys—who have a combined 37.6 followers on TikTok—will eventually be leaving the app for good. The three of them all made videos on TikTok wearing Triller shirts, encouraging their followers to follow them on the new platform. This content is imported from TikTok.
