Vincent Roche, known as Vinny, had a history of falls due to drinking too much
Vincent Roche, known as Vinny, had a history of falling over after drinking too much. On November 13 last year the 63-year-old had been drinking since 11am when he fell over and banged his head while on his way home in Barnoldswick.
An inquest held today at accrington-town-hall>Accrington Town Hall heard a statement from Vinny's brother Max who said he "wasn't surprised" about his death. In the statement Max said: "He was prone to falling over due to the fact he would often drink too much. "He didn't tell me he had a fall for around two days but that wasn't unusual because of how often we spoke. He then contacted me and said the room was spinning and he had thrown up. I called an ambulance for him and the rest, as they say, is history."
