Soccer AM is coming to an end after 30 years
The iconic weekend football show has just 10 episodes left, which will take it to the end of the current season.Staff were told on Tuesday morning that the show would be ending, and that they would be made redundant in May.“Morale is at an all-time low, they are raging.A Sky Spokesperson added: “Soccer AM has played an important role in our coverage of football for the past three decades, and we continually adapt to the evolving needs of our customers.
“We now go into a period of consultation to discuss the proposed changes with our people. We are unable to provide more detail while these consultations are underway.
The current edition is hosted by John Fendley and ex-footballer Jimmy Bullard, with the latter attracting new viewers with the Soccer AM Pro AM.
