The SNP candidate in a key general election battleground seat has mysteriously been replaced at the last minute.
Whyte was unveiled in October as the SNP candidate in the newly-renamed East Lothian, which is a top target for Labour and their candidate Douglas Alexander.Her Twitter account confirmed the switch.An SNP source said he had stepped back for health reasons. "While I am still adjusting to the fact I'm now the candidate, I can’t wait to bring my own energy and commitment to our local communities to the campaign for Westminster.
