The reptile was handed in to the charity’s Glasgow Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre on October 2 after he was discovered outside in a residential area of Airdrie.
The Scottish SPCA has reunited a young corn snake found in Lanarkshire with his owner after he went missing a year ago.

“It’s amazing that this snake has managed to survive outside for a year through different temperatures and changes in weather- as well as eating goodness knows what.“We’re always delighted to reunite an animal with their owner, whatever shape or size the animal might be.” If anyone finds an animal in distress they should call the Scottish SPCA’s animal helpline on 03000 999 999.
