Back in 2016, Mayfield finished with seven total touchdown passes; Mordecai had seven touchdown passes in the first half alone on Saturday.But the analytics could. According to Pro Football Focus, Mordecai had an overall grade of 95.3 against Houston and a passing grade of 96.3. The grading scale is out of 100.combed through the game logs for each of the 50 highest-rated PFF quarterbacks in the country and couldn’t find a quarterback with a better grade in either category.
“Guys have their nights,” said Mordecai, who completed 28-of-37 passes for 379 yards. “The ball was just spinning out of my hands and guys were fricken making plays.It was especially meaningful for Mordecai considering how the previous two weeks had gone. He suffered a concussion in a two-point loss to Cincinnati on Oct 22. Because of the concussion, he had to go through return-to-play protocol that features a mandated checklist.
