We chatted to game director Ryan Barnard about how the upcoming pirate game Skull and Bones will utilise Ubisoft's experience from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
Skull and Bones is set to sail onto Xbox Series X|S in November, and game director Ryan Barnard explains that the pirate game will"leverage that expertise" of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.with new gameplay footage of the pirate game. Skull and Bones comes from Ubisoft Singapore, and we spoke to game director Ryan Barnard about how the game might build upon what Ubisoft Montreal implemented with Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
Skull and Bones sees us starting with nothing and fighting to survive as we work to become the most infamous pirate on the seas. We'll face dangers from every side; from the wildlife, other pirates, the weather, and even our own crew, which can mutiny if it decides it doesn't like your leadership.
