Sir Jim Ratcliffe has been holding virtual meetings with Manchester United co-chairman Joel Glazer ahead of the Ineos Group's impending investment in the club.
United chief executive Richard Arnold and football director John Murtough are thought to be at risk. Arnold joined United in 2007 and only assumed the chief executive post in February 2022. Murtough has overseen a substantial structural overhaul at United, hiring Andy O'Boyle as deputy football director, Steve Brown as head of recruitment and the head of data science Dominic Jordan. Matt Hargreaves replaced Matt Judge as director of football negotiations in the summer.
