Sir David Attenborough has received a prestigious royal honour from the Prince of Wales for services to TV, broadcasting and conservation. Prince Charles awarded Sir David the honour at an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle on Wednesday.The latest accolade, Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George, is an even more prestigious honour.
It was awarded to Sir David in recognition of his recent documentaries about the natural world and his climate change campaigning.
