The Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry , the Lao PDR Ministry of Energy and Mines , and the Cambodia Ministry of Mines and Energy have formed a working group to promote cross-border electricity trade, advancing the ASEAN Power Grid vision.
The working group will also facilitate regulatory approvals and licences for the generation, export and import of electricity and will develop guidelines for subsea surveys and cross-border subsea power cable installations.
