For many, Simone Biles is the greatest gymnast of all time and after a two-year hiatus from the sport following the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, the US gymnast is back to what she does best: winning events.
The 26-year-old has another opportunity to add to her medal collection over the next week at the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Antwerp, Belgium. There is plenty on the line at the world championships, including qualification spots for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. How to watch The world championships begin on September 30 and run until October 8.
“I didn’t know if I was ever going to be able to compete again because there were multiple times this year where I was in the gym and I was like: ‘I’m actually terrified of this full-in, like I’m not doing it again, never going to do it,’” Biles told Olympics.com in an exclusive interview. “And then I was like: ‘You know what?
