Five people were shot and one killed Sunday morning after a group of men wearing ski masks began shooting at patrons standing outside a night club in north Houston.
Harris County Sheriff's Office officials investigate the scene of a north Houston shooting that may have involved at least one AK-47.Five people were shot and one killed in a shooting outside a north Houston club Sunday morning, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
A preliminary investigation showed that a vehicle pulled up around 2 a.m. outside around Lounge 33 at 5121 FM 1960 Road, Gonzalez told OnScene TV reporters. Multiple people wearing ski masks exited the vehicle and began firing rifles in a concentrated area near the front of the club, close a food truck parked nearby. At least one person was using an AK-47, Gonzalez said. Sheriff's office officials found multiple types of shell casings at the scene.
Three women and two men standing outside of the club were shot and taken to the hospital, where one man was pronounced deceased. The condition of the other four victims was not available as of Sunday morning.
