A 44-year-old man who was standing on Broadway in Lemon Grove, talking with people inside a vehicle, was intentionally ran over around 2:15 a.m. and later died at a hospital. sheriff’s offici…

Sheriff’s investigators are looking for a driver who they suspect intentionally ran down a 44-year-old man in Lemon Grove early Monday.Deputies responded to a reported hit-and-run and when they arrived they found the man lying in the center lane of Broadway. The victim was conscious and breathing, Paramedics took him to a hospital, where he died.

The name of the man who was killed was not released. Investigators also did not release any information about the driver. Anyone with information about the incident was asked to call the Homicide Unit at 285-6330 or after hours at 565-5200.
