Central Pa. under severe thunderstorm watch through Sunday evening

The watch impacts Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York counties, as well as most of Maryland and several counties in northern Virginia.scattered tornadoes, isolated occurrences of hail up to ping-pong-ball size, and wind gusts up to 70 miles per hour, according to the NWS.

Sunday’s high temperature of 75 degrees is also expected to be the warmest of the week, according to the NWS, with daily highs dropping into the 60s by Tuesday and staying there for the rest of the week along with mostly sunny and clear skies.
