A 20-year-old was caught with a fake ID identical to the one used in Superbad (via toofab)
used to purchase alcohol while underage in "Superbad", which Rogen co-wrote with Evan Goldberg.
According to police, the University of Iowa business student was approached by an officer around 12:30 a.m. on Friday morning, after he spotted him holding what looked like an alcoholic drink in his hand; he said Burleson admitted it contained vodka. The cop said Burleson initially refused to show him any ID, but when he did it confirmed he was aged 20, a year shy of the legal drinking age.
The officer said he then asked Burleson if had any fake IDs, and he insisted he didn't. But when he searched his wallet, he found a Hawaii one belonging to the mononymous McLovin, with a listed birth-date of 06/03/1981, which would make the owner 38 years old.The officer claimed Burleson smelled strongly of alcohol, had slurred speech, had bloodshot and watery eyes, and that he refused a post-arrest breathalyzer test.
