GARDENA Jimmy Butler kicked off his second Mission League season as the starting quarterback of the Serra football team Friday.
Serra’s offense also received a boost with the return of wide receiver Zacharyus Williams who missed the last game, Sept. 15 against Oaks Christian and running back Cincere Rhaney was nearly unstoppable, rushing for 191 yards and two touchdowns. However, as time went by, the offense managed to get some things ironed out to take a 20-7 lead into halftime.
