The RS 5200 wireless earphones from Sennheiser are ideal for people who want to watch the TV without disturbing other or who need a little help to hear the TV clearly.
The RS 5200 have been redesigned and now feature stethoset-style earphones that are more comfortable to wear, especially if you have long hair or wear glasses. The stethoscope design is very effective at cutting out microphonics, those annoying scraping sounds that headphone cables often make and transmit up the wires. It’s possible to set the volume control separately for the left and right ears; I like the way Sennheiser has also made the volume buttons more responsive and easier to use.
Compared with the previous model, the new RS 5200 earphones are more comfortable to wear which makes them ideal for insomniacs who find themselves watching TV into the small hours because they can’t sleep. The built-in rechargeable battery can power the earphones for up to 12 hours between charges. To top the battery up, simply pop the receiver back in the transmitter unit’s cradle and it will be fully charged in around three hours.
The wireless receiver can connect at up to 70 meters which is very handy if you want to get up from your seat or bed and pad off to the kitchen to fix a drink or grab a snack while still hearing the audio from the TV show.The Sennheiser RS 5200 are a great solution for people who want to watch TV late at night without disturbing others.
