Republican California congressional candidate Jonathan Madison discusses Sen. Dianne Feinstein's absence because of health issues and Gov. Newsom's potential appointment.
He told reporters at a press conference on Monday that he wants Sen. Ben Cardin, D-Md., as her replacement. Feinstein has been sidelined since early March after her office announced she was being treated for shingles at a San Francisco hospital.
