'Seeking advice on how to address very loud music'
Seeking advice on how to address very loud music at Harvard Towers in Mount Pleasant. We own a house nearby and when the weather gets warm, the music starts blasting. And it’s not occasional loud music, it’s almost everyday and sometimes at. We are fans of the selection but it is very loud, disruptive, and entirely disrespectful to their neighbors.
In the past, we’ve had success with their property manager who was lovely and very responsive. The current property manager completely ignores us. We elevated this to our very helpful ANC rep and to our council member. So far we haven’t seen any evidence that this has helped. We have, of course, asked residents themselves to please turn it down and these interventions are met almost exclusively with hostility and defensiveness so we’ve given up on that route.
