On the eve of her 96th birthday, Queen Elizabeth has shared a new official picture with the public through her social media accounts.
In it, the monarch stands between two of her white fell ponies—named Bybeck Katie and Bybeck Nightingale—on the grounds of Windsor Castle. She wears a muted green coat in a shade that is similar to Prince Philip'sThe photo was taken by Henry Dallal, a noted equestrian photographer, on behalf of the Royal Windsor Horse Show. The queen is a patron—and avid spectator—of the annual sporting event, which is held in May or June each year.
