Echo Butler was sentenced to two consecutive life terms without the possibility of parole.

The judge lamented that no one came forward about what she called the “incredible mistreatment” of the girls so it did not end the way it did. Also charged in the case are Butler’s parents, Ronald R., 54, and Michele L. Butler., 50. Michele Butler is has agreed to plead guilty. Both are free on bail.of endangering the welfare of children and obstruction in child abuse cases against Ronald Butler. He is scheduled to go to trial.
There also was testimony Jasmine weighed only five pounds when she died about Aug. 11, 2017, while Snyder and Echo Butler were living on Catherine Street in Williamsport.
