Speaking generally about the application of the regulations, Everton boss Sean Dyche questioned the sense in clubs having to deal with huge changes while a season is in full flow
Everton manager Sean Dyche believes it would make more sense if issues such as points deductions were dealt with in the summer months ahead of each season.
But he thinks it would help clubs prepare better for the challenges that lie ahead if they were to begin a season with clarity on their situation.READ MORE: Everton face new Premier League fight that must be settled before transfer window opens Dyche came to acknowledge that the instability around the deductions was impacting his players as the Blues awaited the verdict on their appeal of the first case. The blows of a new punishment and the uncertainty over the appeal that is expected to follow will be another hurdle for those players, who have otherwise secured enough points through their performances to avoid a survival battle.
The Blues said: “I don't imagine for one minute it's easy to get all these top people together, but whatever's going to happen to any football club, I think the biggest learning curve, if it's possible, is to put any situations into a summer period and let teams know. Because I just think, and you've got to remember I speak on behalf of myself but I also meet so many football fans and sometimes you collect thoughts. I think a lot of them are right.
